My oil paintings are often adapted from small drawings or watercolours. Or sometimes they begin with a line wandering across a blank canvas, with no plan, the paintings ‘paint themselves’. I tend to use a limited palette of colours, blending only 3 or 4.

I mostly paint on canvas with ‘artist quality’ oil paints with some pigments mixed in. One day, I hope to make my own oil paints using local Cypriot pigments.
